Thiffya is a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of nursing experience. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trent University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from York University, along with a Perinatal Intensive Care Nursing certificate.

Her career spans diverse specialty areas, including neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, geriatrics, gastroenterology, and mental health. She also brings experience in international community nursing and clinical research. Her primary care experience includes providing services in a family health team, a community health centre, and a medical clinic.

Thiffya is dedicated to providing care that is compassionate, safe, trauma-informed, and culturally competent. She takes a holistic, person-centered approach, with special interests in women’s health, newborn health, and mental health.
